the february eighteen
$10 Chanel belt, hometown tailgate, favorite baguettes, facial heaven, and my kind of Olsens
As the shortest month in the year calls for the shortest time to get things done hence why this very post is coming to you in March. Career highs, super bowl fun, sea of vintage thrifting, and tidbits in between it was a busy busy little 28 days for me and I am exhausted already. And while love didn’t find me in the romance department this year I found it in other things…18 things to be exact with some returning favorites and some new. I’m excited to share them with my almost 1k community which is also crazy to say so hopefully in this new month we can make that happen. But for now, here are my February favorites that I hope you might favor as well. Enjoy!
Sparkle, sparkle, sparkle – that’s the vibe I’m embracing lately, and I want my wardrobe to reflect it. I’ve been craving romance (not in relationships, but in my clothes), swirling in color, and adding a little more fun to my style. With February being the month of love, pink mania is everywhere, only intensifying my adoration for this sweet hue. I can’t quite put my finger on why pink sequins, in particular, are calling to me, but they sure know how to make an impression.
The Fanning sisters are my modern-day Olsen twins. I just finished my third rewatch of The Great (highly recommend if you love exaggerated, Bridgerton-esque, totally unhinged historical dramas), and I can’t help but be drawn to them. Growing up, I was all about the Olsen twins—owning It Takes Two and New York Minute on DVD—but now, I find myself especially drawn to the Fannings, particularly Elle, since we're close in age. They have that same sisterly magic—a duo with undeniable chemistry, effortless style, and an infectious sense of fun.

With Elle's latest Coach ambassador collaboration and A Complete Unknown, plus Dakota's recent Golden Globe nomination, we’re definitely going to see even more of these sisters. And on top of that, they founded their own production company, Lewellen Pictures, back in 2021. I’m excited to see what’s next for them!
Here are a few must-read Substacks that have been filling up my inbox with delightful, inspiring, and thought-provoking reads this past month. From fashion deep dives to creative musings, these are the ones I keep coming back to—and loving—week after week.

There’s nothing quite like a good facial, and lately, I’ve been fully embracing the self-care moment. Back in January, I had the chance to attend what might be the most fun work meeting ever with Pinterest. While discussing exciting marketing plans for the year ahead, the Pinterest team treated my social team to a spa day at Haven Spa, nestled between the energy of NYU and just off Washington Square Park. Between getting our nails done, indulging in massages, and experiencing top-tier facials, it was the ultimate way to mix business with much needed wellness pleasure.
Inspired by that first trip, my team decided to keep the tradition alive this month with a bonding outing of our own—back to Haven Spa for round two. This time, I opted for the 80 Minutes in Haven Facial, which was, in the simplest and most effective words… heavenly. Not only did my esthetician drench my skin in hydration with a much-needed lymphatic drainage massage, but she also took the time to evaluate my skin concerns, offering real solutions for my routine—especially as I’ve been tackling some small rosacea flare-ups as of late. I felt good in my skin and informed to maintain the glow and hydration I have been chasing on my quest to improving my skin.
I've been absolutely fawning over deer print—there’s something so whimsical and charming about it that’s hard to resist. The delicate imagery of deer, with their graceful poses and soft features, feels both elegant and serene. Unlike other animal prints that can be bold and in-your-face, deer print has this quiet, understated beauty that adds a touch of nature to any outfit. There's something so refreshing and endearing about it, and I can't help but fall for it more and more each day.
Lately, I’ve been drawn to the bold appeal of tiger print, a pattern that feels both lively and striking. After seasons of more neutral prints, this vibrant stripes adds a fresh energy that stands out. The rich orange and black stripes create a look that's eye-catching but not overwhelming, offering a sense of strength and vibrancy.
I was going through a few of my old Pinterest boards when I stumbled upon an image of Laura Harrier—one of my favorite style inspirations—wearing a stunning Ralph Lauren silk dress. It instantly sparked my love for silk dresses all over again, and as spring starts to creep closer, it’s quickly climbing to the top of my list. In fact, I’ve already added one to my checkout cart. It seems I’m not alone in this, as a recent Google Trends report shows the search rate for silk dresses steadily rising. There’s just something about them: such a simple, elegant piece that delivers a put-together look with minimal effort.
At this point, it should come as no surprise if you've been following my stack that this item is making the list again. I simply can't get enough of it, and it’ll probably make another appearance in March, so don't hate me – it’s just what I like. Honestly, my obsession comes down to comfort. What I mean by that is, I absolutely HATE wearing layers, especially during the winter months. I know it might be a controversial opinion, and you can call me basic for preferring warmer climate dressing, but hey, I’ve spoken my truth – and apparently, I’m not alone, given the spike in interest on Google Trends we all want to lighten our load of heavy thick materials. The lightweight, airy ruffle frills give the perfect illusion of layering in one step, without making me feel like I’m suffocating. It’s a win-win in my book.
Stepping away from the city's constant motion, I returned home just in time for the Super Bowl—where laid-back Southern charm meets the thrill of game day. Between savoring king cake, enjoying sunny days with my pup, West, and gearing up for Mardi Gras, I showed my Chiefs pride in style no matter the lost, pairing my trusty red Coach Tabby with a few classic staples I packed featuring my J.Crew Emilie Sweater Jacket, Siegelman Stable Hat, and Hey Harper Phi Phi Hoops. From the enchanting streets of the French Quarter to the electric energy of Bourbon Street, this weekend was a seamless mix of nostalgia and festivity.
Lately, I’ve been completely fixated on one thing: the Fendi Baguette. Maybe I’ve been watching too much Sex and the City—getting lost in Carrie’s endless search for Mr. Big—but there’s one episode that’s stuck with me for an entirely different reason. In Season 3, Episode 17 (“What Goes Around Comes Around”), Carrie struts through the city with her iconic purple sequin Fendi Baguette, only for it to be stolen right off her arm. And in true Carrie fashion, she corrects the thief when he calls it a bag: “It’s a Baguette.” That moment alone solidified its cult status in my mind.
Truthfully, I’ve been obsessed for a while, but the urge to finally get my hands on one has never been stronger. And I’m not alone—Google Trends shows a rising interest in this little Baguette, especially during the peaks of the pandemic until now. Something about its compact, structured silhouette and that perfect mix of nostalgia and luxury makes it the bag to have.
If I could choose, my dream picks would be the Purple Sequin, Satin Embroidered Floral, and Floral Embroidered Baguettes—each one just as timeless as the last. Until then, I’ll just be here, manifesting my Carrie Bradshaw moment.
This past month has been full of inspiration, and my "Good Pairings" note series has been a big part of that. It's been so rewarding to see my community enjoying the series, and I can’t wait to continue bringing a little inspiration to your day.
MUNTHE’s Fall Winter 2025-2026 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week was a masterclass in blending intellectual sophistication with effortless wearability. Rooted in 1970s university aesthetics, Creative Director Naja Munthe reimagined vintage academia with a fresh, modern perspective—think faux fur, corduroy, slim scarves, and duffel coats, all reinterpreted with the brand’s signature contrasts. The collection played with structure and fluidity, where sharp tailoring met soft silhouettes, staying true to MUNTHE’s ethos of creating pieces that are both expressive and timeless. A bold zebra print ran throughout, tying the looks together with a sense of unexpected cohesion. Accessories took center stage with the introduction of the LIX and LAVILLA bags, along with suede sneakers and playful bag charms, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to versatility.

Adding a nostalgic twist, MUNTHE collaborated with Warner Bros. Discovery, incorporating Looney Tunes motifs into its refined aesthetic, a delightful contrast that infused the collection with a sense of whimsy. Artist Emma Larsson’s expressive color palette—rich bordeaux, deep navy, and warm camel—served as another layer of inspiration, highlighting MUNTHE’s dedication to craftsmanship and artistry. Altogether, the collection embodied a confident, multidimensional take on contemporary femininity, proving once again that MUNTHE is a brand that doesn’t just design clothing—it tells a story.
Brands are fully indulging in this hue this year, and I’m definitely sipping the grape-flavored Kool-Aid. Purple was undeniably a standout shade at this season’s NYFW, with designers like Michael Kors, Zankov, Sergio Hudson, Anna Sui, and Ulla Johnson embracing its rich, versatile appeal. It’s a refreshing shift from the flood of fiery reds that have dominated the past two years—a perfect balance of cool blue and vibrant red that feels bold yet effortlessly wearable. Maybe it’s time for secondary colors to take center stage this season.
And it’s not just the runways taking notice—Google Trends has shown a steady rise in interest in purple from 2004 to now, proving its lasting appeal. If you're ready to embrace the trend, consider investing in Theory’s robe coat in double-face wool cashmere for a luxe layering piece, the Sézane Chlo Shirt for a chic yet casual touch, or Mango’s Printed Halter-Neck Dress for a statement-making moment.
Here are a few of my favorite reads from this past month that have truly inspired and captivated me. Each one has brought something unique, from fresh perspectives to creative insights.
As I previously shared in my spa journey with Pinterest, I had the chance to freshen up my claws with my amazing team a week ago for a social bonding session. This was my second time visiting Vanity Projects, and as usual, I had no clue what I wanted to do with my nails. For some context, I rarely get my nails done unless it's for a special occasion. The last time I stepped into a nail salon was for my college graduation in 2023, so it's been quite a while, which meant choosing a design was a bit stressful. Whatever I chose would be staring me in the face for the next few weeks, so I had to come up with something semi-good.

Like any last-minute gal, I found myself doom-scrolling for inspiration while sitting on the green velvet couch in the waiting room, as each of my coworkers was called for their appointment. My last set from my first visit was a tiger-print French tip—simple and cute, and it suited someone like me while also showing me that they had the skills to execute something more intricate, which they definitely did. Armed with that knowledge, I decided to try something new for myself.

When my name was called, I showed my nail artist two options because, of course, my indecisiveness wouldn’t let me pick just one. Above are my Pinterest inspo pics and the final result below. I will say, I’m not mad at it. My nail artist was a pro—she patiently worked with my last-minute choices and seamlessly incorporated elements from each image onto every nail. If you happen to be in Chinatown, I highly recommend checking them out. They can literally create anything you dream up!
A hill of Fendi baguettes, Manolos galore, and Louis hanging next to Chanels. That was how I spent my first weekend in February of stepping into the wonderland of the Manhattan Vintage Pop-Up.
This was my first deep dive into the luxury thrifting scene, at least all in one place, and it was everything. The thrill of the hunt, the racks lined with decades of iconic pieces, and the electric buzz of fellow fashion lovers on the same mission—it was an experience I won’t forget. And let’s talk about my finds. I managed to snag a White 2003 Coach Shoulder Bag for $80 and a Vintage Red Leather Gold Chain Chanel Belt for under $10 (currently having this little gem fixed and cleaned up). I still don’t know how I snagged that I guess the thrifting gods were with me that day.

Now, I’m already counting down to the next one and mapping out more vintage pop-ups across the city. If this is what New York’s secondhand luxury scene has to offer, I’m all in.
Here are the products I’ve been loving this past month—ones that have earned a spot in my daily routine and just might in yours too.
Made our week ❤️❤️
